My occasional travels to Canada take me thru the Toronto area. There are a h*** of a lot of swarthy middle eastern types, including Paki's and those from India, in the greater Toronto metro area. It seems about every third car on the 401 Expressway has a driver and passengers who wear a turban.

They all live in the burbs because they can't afford housing in the city proper. Euro-heritage Canadians have priced them all out.

It's rare for a muslim in Toronto to have a turban. We have a lot of Sikhs here though, who for the most part have a very good reputation here. The Indians generally do well here because those who tend to leave India are tend to be well-educated professionals and entrepreneurs.
