She's been doing that for a couple of months. About a week or so ago, she pulled herself up from sitting to standing. Oh she was holding on to her mother's hands, but for all the help she got, it could have just as well been a metal bar. She's also pulled herself up from laying down to only her heels touching the floor, using her rings. Her mother was a gymnast, I think she might be as well. She's got the build for it. Short legs, moderate body length, long arms.
On Christmas eve, she kept trying to pull the hymnal out of my hands as her grandma held her. The next day I was reading her new book to her, and she tried to take that away as well. Now she didn't want to read it, or even look at the pictures, she wanted to bite it. But she's a strong little cuss, and her Grandpas are very proud of her.
GREAT...I hope her Mom does get her into gymnastics...I was on the team all through school...in Colorado.
In Texas, they don't have competitive gymnastics through the school.
She sounds like she will need the outlet for her energy...LOL
Yes, I am having the same thing with my 1 year old granddaughter, Chase...she is always putting stuff into her mouth...Dr. Pepper cartons, my shoes, dog biscuits that our dog hid (but babies have a special radar that finds these things)...
You name it...she has tried to eat it...but, NOW, she doesn't want to eat baby food...but she won't eat meat or cheese either, just shoes, and cardboard....LOL
