Which democrat running is more favorably disposed toward gun ownership?

Probably precious few - but on the other hand, there are a ton of candidates on the right, many of which will support or at least be neutral on the second. I can't speak for the electability of any of the candidates, since there's so many of them and I'm not all that familiar with the local politics.

To be honest, I can't bet on a dog in this race as I live in Tennessee, but I'm not averse to providing modest financial and verbal support. Right now, I'm withholding that support. C'mon, Arnold, back off on the gun issue. Its all the citizens have left.

You're right that there are many candidates on the right, and thankfully on the left as well. All but a few will end up getting just the fringe vote on either side. Statistics being what they are, a couple of candidates will rise to the top and the contest will actually be between them, quite irrespective of whatever the others do.

I agree that the gun issue is Arnold's weakest point with the right. I don't, however, really see it becoming either a campaign issue or a major issue during the next governor's tenure (remember, there's only ONE year until the next general election). I don't see him going on a big anti-gun crusade. There's way bigger issues to go after.

Also, all this anti-gun stuff that people have on Arnold is only based on ONE (1) quote from some interview some time ago. It's not like it's a plank in his platform. What guns would he go after anyway? California already has about the most draconian gun laws. I just don't think it is going to be an issue in this campaign.

And as a fellow Tennessean, you ought to know better than to even think about considering urging support for this RINO after 8 years of Scumquist.
