George Clooney's new movie "Spy Kids 3" is out today,

along with:

Scorched with Woody Harrelson out July 25th

Masked and Anonymous with Jessica Lange out July 25th

Buffalo Soldiers in LA and NYC

And of course, we all know how Johnny Depp feels about America. he is mortified by our actions. Do you want to see your hard-earned dollars support this actor who chooses to live in France? If not, then skip "Pirates of the Caribbean"

These anti-American celebs don't deserve our money!!

It's a shame, many of these celebs were my favs. Ed Harris was one. Now, I wouldn't give him a quarter for a phone call.

Family-friendly shows, like Seabiscuit and Nemo, are very successful, while bimbo movies with J-Lo are going straight to video, and Clooney's last 3 movies bombed.

Since just about all Hollywood types are leftists, with very few exceptions, I think Rodney King's advice (post #3) is worth taking. I would make one modification. If there is a movie produced by a certifiably good guy such as Mel Gibson, one can and should make an exception if you're inclined toward the movie in the first place.

The thing that has always bugged me is, if Hollywood is controlled by Jews, then why in the world would they be against the war in Iraq, Israel's sworn enemy and hater of anything Jewish? It makes no sense.

From what I've seen, modern day Judaism has been split down the middle with Marxists on one side and Zionists on the other. As Israel moves away from Socialism, the Marxist Jews turn on it and embrace the Palestinians, whose organizations are riddled with Marxism. And from what I can tell, Marxist Jews are often very secular. But I'm still trying to figure it out too.

I think that there is a branch of Judaism in this country that is extremely liberal - pro-abortion, for instance, and virulently anti-Republican. I would reckon these are the Hollywood Jews.

I have a theory about this phenomenon, Jews supporting those who hate them, or at least have the power and will to do them harm.
Call it self preservation. Consider this, after centuries of persecution, Jews have developed a mind set powered by fear. Appeasement of your enemies could mean you will be spared, or at least be among the last to board the train to the camp.
Do you recall the older Jewish Gentleman that was interviewed on television during the Gore recount?. When asked why he checked the box for Buchanon and not Gore he replied "I didn't know what I was doing" and " I was confused". What I saw and heard was fear. Fear that he was being singled out, Fear that when not if these people returned to power he would be punished, fear of retaliation in the liberal stronghold of florida.

You know, there's a very interesting movie called Sunshine starring Ralph Fiennes that depicts four generations of a Jewish family in Austria. It explores the Jewish reaction to monarchy, communism, Zionism, the Holocaust.... some of it is just heartbreaking but over all it's a fascinating look at the situation.

I particularly recall the second generation of two brothers and a sister, and one brother is the "conservative." His argument is to support the monarchy, because the monarchy is really quite liberal and allows Jews to thrive as long as they do so within certain parameters. The other son is an ardent Socialist, convinced that Jewish law is really God-inspired socialism requiring one to look after mankind, and the sister just dreams of a place where they can go and simply be Jewish (obviously Israel.)

Of course, then socialism and communism take hold of Europe and the next generation must deal with it in different ways. One converts to Catholicism, one leaves for America, one just changes her name to hide the Jewish heritage.... it's really quite a movie.
