I don't get the attraction of laptops, other than the convenience of being able to transport them.

It's harder than blech to type on the things. And that MOUSE? Double blech.

If you take that notebook, stick it in a docking station and hook a large CRT display, standard keyboard, mouse and network connection to it you can have all the power and user-friendly features of a Desktop computer at two-to-three times the price!
