Bookmark the bang_list. This is not a "ping" list (no one maintains a list of interested FReepers). It is a do-it-yourself, see-what's-been-bumped-to-the list. Anyone can bump an article to the list by sending it To: *bang_list Then, interested FReepers can (bookmark and) check the list periodically to see new articles. Please do not ask me to "add you to the list." It doesn't work like that. This is better than a ping list because (1) anyone can bump an article to the list, and any interested parties can see the list of articles 24x7.

How soon we forget that many of the "school shootings" were ended by an armed teacher.

Hmmm, looks like we're beginning to see a trend here...a fixed-results poll, perhaps?

How soon we forget about people like the principle who held a shooter at bay with a handgun until police arrived.

Apparently the American Sheeple feel safer if the only armed person in the classroom is the criminal. Sure is a testimony in our faith in the integrity of our teachers - would trust a madman waving a gun rather than a teacher equipped to end the violene.

And yet these teachers are so untrustworthy to be able to have 2nd Amendment Rights on the job site respected, millions of parents look forward to the Fall when they can send their little reprobates back into their "care".

I don't think many of them could pass the background check needed. Espicially if mental capacity is an issue.

Numbers aren't changing AT ALL. Could the results have been fixed already ?

"How soon we forget about people like the principle who held a shooter at bay with a handgun until police arrived."

Bear in mind that, except for a few like ourselves who are aware of the bias and get our information from sources other than the leftmedia, very few people have ever heard anything about such positive uses of firearms. To the brainwashed masses who simply watch ABCCBSMSNBCCNN and consider themselves "informed", guns (note: not their handlers) are only capable of evil deeds.

The one in my town ,ERie Pa ,was ended with an armed teacher. The shooting took place off campus at a dance. The story doesnt usually show up in "school shooting" IT happened sometime around MArch /April 98
