An excellent list, justshe. Southack, you might find this interesting. Might be a good place to put that sort of thing together, IMHO.

"Killed the Kyoto Global Warming Treaty. "Anyone who questions whether this was a good thing or not needs to consider the New Zealand Cow Fart tax of $300 per head of cattle to comply with Kyoto.
Search FR for "New Zealand Flatulence" to see articles.

The first part of your list is valuable and interesting; Bush has had a good first 30 months.
Part Two (Items to be accomplished) is just plain nuts. "Eliminate entitlements?" "Stop being civil to democrats"? Good Lord. What are you smoking?
BTW, "Firing Karl Rove" is the last thing Bush would want to do.

I attempted to list the COMPLAINTS I have seen others list as the reasons for their dissatisfaction. These do NOT reflect 'the author's view' necessarily. :-)

Excellent list. I think it will be visited often, with additions or suggestions for you to consider.

however, you could have shortened your list to one line...."Consider the alternative.."This proves again just how brainwashed the people have become. When you go to the ice cream store & they only have vanilla & chocolate & you hate one of the flavors, where is your choice?

Thank you for preparing this list. We tend to forget how much has been accomplished sometimes.
An excellent report card, justshe. ;-)
To: justshe
The USA Freedom Corps is not an accomplishment. Bush also did not gut the AIDS office, and he did not stop abortions on military bases, either. I don't know where you're coming up with all this.
To: justshe
I attempted to list the COMPLAINTS You have it covered pretty good, but you will find about 3,000 versions of those same complaints.
Later! "I'll be back."

"Items still to be accomplished and/or addressed"
- Limit/eliminate federal entitlement programs --> Safety nets are needed and enable risk taking. We will all suffer if they eliminated. Then just need to be managed better and abuse identified and dealt with.
- Hate all Dems and do not treat them civilly-->Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. I think reeducation is in order here.
- Push Frist out.....bring back Trent Lott --> Frist seems to be doing ok. Let him alone.
- Stop all foreign aid.--> Foreign aid should continue, but it should be done wisely. We should not give aid which enables bad regimes to stay in place.
- Eliminate Steel and Wood tarrifs -->Free Trade must be balanced with the employment needs of the country. I don't know about these specific tarrifs but Free Trade must be approached with wisdom.
- Fire Colin Powell -->Colin is useful. Just take his advice with a grain of salt.

however, you could have shortened your list to one line...."Consider the alternative.." and what would you do if GW signed the Kyoto treaty, then the Crime court, then any of the other items listed. When would you say is ENOUGH? Years ago a president that sat quiet on a decision we saw from the SC would have been questioned. A president who increased the budget that has happened would be highly questioned (neither corrupt faction of this "Two-Party Cartel" has ever mentioned that). So the alternative is to GET OUT of the corrupt two parties.
