I've spent a lot of time in Mexico and places further south, and the plight of the poor is beyond belief. This is the very reason that a revolution is desperately needed in Mexico. Things will never get better for the Mexican people until they rise up and drive the elitist government leaders from power and then set up their own government.

Unfortunately, it merely replaced the old elite of the Porfiriarto with that of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).

Things will never get better for the Mexican people until they rise up and drive the elitist government leaders from power and then set up their own government.Almost always in history, the net result is that some government officials decorate lampposts, and the leaders of the revolution sit in the offices for a while. Only rarely does a revolution actually change things for the better for the common man. Especially south of the border.
Besides, why die for a revolution when you can sneak north and get rich?
