Everyone said if the FBI would leave he would walk out of the woods by himself and he did. I know they have a job to do, but they all thought some hillbilly was hiding him. I really beleive he acted on his own.

I agree--but I was one of those who thought he was either dead or in Europe. I really didn't think he could survive for five years in the woods--a year, maybe, but not this long. He may have just been tired of hiding, but he probably didn't plan on getting caught just yet. He really exposed himself when he came into town.

That means low flying planes looking for 'crops' in the Cowee Valley. At least they used to do that a few years back. LOL!!
