I followed the manhunt when it was happening and was amazed at the abuse that the FBI, BATF, etc., etc., heaped upon the residents of that area. Road blocks, verbal abuse, unwarrented searches, the whole nine yards.

My grandparents-in-law lived int he area they thought at one time he was hiding in the mountains of GA. They didn't seem to mind the intrusion and were much more concerned that the man got caught. It bothered them more to have a suspected bomber hiding in their own back yards than have the FBI looking for him there. And they never mentioned anything other than road blocks. Most of my hubby's family lives up there and they never mentioned anything they felt was abuse.
