Now to hunt down the terrorists who've been harboring him all these years. posted by Physicist He walked into a bar where I was having a beer a few years back (Johnson City, TN) and asked to use the phone. I listened while he called the bus station for schedule info. He left quickly after using the phone and less than twenty minutes later a female walked in asking about him (an alias by using only a description). Am I also a terrorist because I didn't call the FBI to report the incident?

Why did you not call the cops? Did not want to get involved?

Is this a hypothetical, or are you actually saying that you saw Eric Rudolph and did not report it?

If you are a terrorist or not, I'll leave for God to decide. But I always had respected you as one of the best fighters for the pro-life cause on this forum. My estimation of you has dropped considerably hearing that.
It does not make me happy to say that either.

Why let a suspected bomber get away?

If you knew it was he, you are complicit in his escape if you took no action.

If this guy really walked into a bar you were frequenting a few years ago, and you didn't report it, it means one of a few things:
A) You weren't sure it was him
B) You knew it was him, but were just too apathetic to report him, or didn't want to be involved
C) You knew it was him, and you support his actions. Which would make you deserving of every bit of contempt I can muster.
Only you know which answer is correct. Are you a terrorist? Not based on your actions in the situation you described. Are you an idiot? Possibly, if your answer is "C".

Who cares? It's not like he killed anyone that was a friend of yours....(/sarcasm)
You no longer have my respect.
