a 90+ pound black Lab that we got 3 months ago from the lab rescue society.
I think he had a hard life, but he refuses to talk about it!!
He's really sweet tho.

Awwwww :o)
Our sweetie Lab was named Katie and 2 when we adopted her. We got her at the pound-she had been terribly abused and was hours from extinction.
She was part of our family for 11 years before she suffered a massive stroke..we had to have her put to sleep. Talk about primal emotions. It's been 5 years and we still miss her so much.
We have a stepcat with claws now. Long story.

Labs were one of my favorite breeds to work with when I worked at a pet store. Very sweet disposition and great around kids. But I'm still very partial to my Dobes *s* My parents have one that weighs about 130lbs and is a big baby.

We rescued 2 female labs 2 years ago, they were so abused and starving that their growth was stunted. They look like they are about 7 or 8 months old and they are 3 years old. They became VERY territorial and we have to kennel them when we get company. Poor things, we almost lost them several times and I have spoiled them rotten. They along with my Gorden Setter are my babies and they know it!
