THE ISSUE IS THE SURRENDER TO THE EXECUTIVE OF LEGISLATIVE RESPONSIBILITY

Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution says "The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts, and Excises...To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations".

As the Declaration of Independence makes clear, God is our Creator and Sovereign, the source of our liberties. Law is the will of the Sovereign. We, His people, are the stewards of God's sovereignty. That is why "Government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed."

Article I, Section 1 of the Constitution stipulates that "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States...." That is so that the power delegated to the Federal union will be accountable to us. Despite this fact, 42 Republican U.S. Senators allied themselves with Bill Clinton and America's globalist corporate-media-political establishment to vote for "fast track".

I wouldn't waste much energy worrying about Todd's dividing the GOP, or harming President Bush if I were you......though his purpose to do so is obvious.

Soing so would mean that he had some kind of power or authority. And although I'm sure he thinks he possesses some power to persuade, all he has are empty, illogical words that very few...... if any...... around here take seriously.

No, I know that meetings with Clinton did not produce second attempt with Securitiy Council. That was a widely discussed topic among govt officials.....I heard about it on Charlie Rose show in interview with Kissinger 10 days before it happened. Kissie said there would be a second go at SecCouncil, which would fail, and then we'd go to war. He declined to discuss it further, but the idea was floating about and had nothing to do with Xlinton.
