I kinda like Jane Fonda= "Fonda Wanking"

Please remember the context - this is the "Coalition of the Willing". Your government chose to excluse itself -
Check CENTCOM for the participants of Operation Enduring Freedom (War on Terror - Afghanistan). You will find that you are among them!

Ehm, my last post was no joking. I took that for serious, you didn´t need to post the last sentences.
But what I care about is you. You referred to anti-american sentiments. Any bad experiences, yet? And you said you lived in Europe, and I guess it´s Germany, correct?

The 4 Marines in the attack are still listed as injured, so thats good. Prayers too them.
One cable news said car bomb. I guess this was a suicide bomber.

Arab volunteers ..suicide bombers.Looting is selective not a danger to life. Arab news Front page features our flag on statue not the true representation..message of occupation not liberation is promoted..Inflame instead of inform?

Okay - glad of that.
I used to live in Germany (1988 - 1999). Live now in Switzerland.
No "personal" attacks. But the general attitude and the media are more than enough to make one feel "unwelcome" (especially because I support the current actions!)

Gilligan casts doubt on source of hotel attack [Iraq Responsible For Hotel Kill Shot]
Sorry, but I just can't take seriously anything said by Gilligan. The Professor, maybe, but not Gilligan! Each time I see this name I start thinking about Bob Denver!

The BloomMobile...David Bloom's camera crew... I live in Oregon. Yesterday we got word that yet another Oregon was KIA. He was a volunteer firefighter in a rural town. 35 years old.
The last time his folks heard from him was when David Bloom let him use his sat phone to call home. There is video footage of it. Not only that, he and David had "bunked" together (whatever that entails... same tent?).

Highly selective looting.Apt phrase. Tariq, UN, Saddam-ites-R-Us, Al Jazeera - thank you free Iraqi citizens for making it clear to the watching world who you want in an Iraqi-governed free Iraq.

Last night Shep was starting to go off about some emails he received putting down the non-embedded press. He seemed pretty hot. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay up to see it all. Can someone summarize? Was he going off on Freepers?

Not on freepers (I hope). One emailer said he cared for the soldiers who were killed, and their families, but he did not care for the journalists who were killed, or their families. Another email said "Screw the journalists".

He read to letters that stated that they didn't care about the journalists who were injured/killed in Iraq. One guy went so far as to say "screw the journalists."
These people were also suggesting we should only get our news from the government during their daily press briefings, etc. Shep made the point that our system is set up with a free press as part of a checks and balances system. And maybe people who only wanted to get their news from the government should visit Iraq.

Geraldo alert.
To: abnegation
'Raldo's back with the 101st. I wonder how long that will last, though -- he just called them the 103rd!
To: Warren_Piece
He got some pretty cruel ones and talked of the importance of a free press.I am going to write him a sane email one day about the point...our soldiers lives in danger.I have nothing against the press but their arrogance.I am sad when they are killed but demanding we should investigate got under everyone's skin.
