"Here comes the school bus, Ashley. Do you have your lunch money?"
"Yeah, mom.  See ya t'night."
"Wait.  Before you go, I need to tell you something.  There are some bad
people at school...."
"You mean like Bluto Johnson?"
"No, I mean bad like they...uh...put things where they don't belong."
"You mean like Elmer Braswell.  He's always losing stuff."
"Uhm, no.  People with...uh...bad habits.  These people won't be talking today,
so I want you to be sure and talk a lot.  That way, no one will notice the bad
people aren't talking, and no one will mistake you for one of them."
"You want me to talk at school today?  Because the bad people won't? How about if we just beat the bad people up?"
"Oh, no, honey.  Don't make friends with them, don't eat with them, don't bring them
home, don't believe what they tell you, and don't treat them the way you would anyone else.
But don't hurt them."
"Why not?"
"Because that wouldn't be Christian."

They have to announce it, put it on the school calendar. Maybe distribute flyers....

All of this proselytizes the "cause" under the guise of "silence."

In-school demonstrations of assorted sexual preferences?

Where have you been? That's going on daily in every public high school across the country.

Our high school sponsored three rich, young, well-dressed gay executives to lead class discussions on the positive aspects and practices of homosexuality and diversity.

When a married couple of parents asked for the same opportunity to address the students, they were turned down.

The left does more than condone this type of behavior.
Sexual diversity classes are taught even in elementary schools.

The agenda being promoted here is the classic Planned Parenthood agenda.

Schools have installed the offensive PP'hood as the arbiter of children's values that are implemented via evil "values clarification" programs.

The venal PP'hood together with the Christian-baiting ACLU have pulled off an amazing corruption of our culture via their tortured elliptical arguments that have achieved the entire libertine reproductive agenda:
1) explicit K-12 sex education, including sexual perversions, at taxpayers' expense,
2) a fully fornicating society, and
3) abortion-on-demand with the gov't picking up the tab.

We are reaping the left-liberal whirlwind. The magnitude of crimes being committed is mind-boggling. Parents killing children, children killing parents, compounded by utter disrespect for all authority.

Ugly Hollywarped messages in movies, songs and TV contribute to the cultural morass.

The hatred of Christian dicta by PP and its acolytes has forced on our culture humanistic moral relativity, and political correctness, which abhors criticism of even the rankest criminal and degenerate sexual practices. Right and wrong do not exist in these twisted minds.

The PP cancer in our culture is its ruination and this article is a prime example of why it must be removed.

What? No bestiality demonstrations? No trans-gender indoctrinaiton?

And what about necrophilia (sex with dead bodies)?

That oughta make an interesting classroom discussion.

Also check out my post #26.

Great post #26.

Many parents would be shocked if they knew the real eugenic roots of Planned Parenthood.

I'm always amazed that people assume these things happen randomly.

Helena Blavatsky and Harry Potter's "Vlabatsky" aren't just two letters apart by accident.

Quote "Because they gotta RECRUIT, fella. RECRUIT is the name of the game."

You show your stupidity by saying things like this. You have no clue. Gay people do not recruit straight people...you are either Gay or you are not. Sorry to disappoint you.

A 'day of silence' doesn't bother me. Getting the flamers to shut their mouths seems like a great accomplishment to me; if only it were more permanent!

Ahem.

WRONG.

You know as well as anyone else, there is no evidence people are "born" homosexual.

However, there is plenty of evidence it is a matter of choice. (See: Anne Heche, So You Want To Be A Lesbian, etc.)

And as far as recruiting is concerned, don't you think it is odd that ten-year-olds who will not even be given lessons on the body human until at the very least middle school are being given books like "Heather Has Two Mommies" and "Gloria Goes To Gay Pride?"

No, Emmylou, it is like this:

Homosexuals already have rights as citizens of the United States of America. What homosexuals want is a minority status based on sexual behavior.

There is a word for that, but actually saying it could get this post deleted and/or my account suspended.

Furthermore, homosexuals want to marry and adopt (because they cannot procreate) and teach their "sexual orientation" in public schools.

Sorry, honey, but that dog don't hunt.

If homosexuals want to be treated as an equal with respect, then they should keep it in the bedroom where it belongs and leave me and my family the hell out of it!

Since when is it just Conservatives that dont agree with the homosexual agendas I know many people some conservative but many just normal human beings who would love to see homosexual agendas shoved back in the closet away from the eyes of their children.

I guess if Conservatives are the only ones fighting homosexuality then everyone else MUST be Queer ?

Its Christian to condemn their lifestyle and disapprove of what they do, it is also christian to treat the PERSON with respect. Christianity tries to balance love of the person with hatred of the sins. Nothing wrong with that.

I've studied lots of occult literature and I've found that J.K. Rowling at least has a passing interest, if not an appreciation, for occultism. Even so, her books are perfectly innocuous (i actually find them rather charming). The occult references are merely passing references to things most people wouldn't even catch (Rubeus, Albus, Vlabatasky, etc etc). Its sort of like how Lord of the Rings is written by a Christian but it doesnt teach you how to be a Christian. Harry Potter is written by an occult-enthusiast, but the books dont teach you how to practice true magic.

Well, you aren't wrong there. Even so, the ideal is respect for the person, and judgement of their actions.

As someone said on one of the many Harry Potter threads, these "occultic references" familiarize kids with the nomenclature.

A few years later, when these same kids are confronted by real occult traps, they are less wary of them. The warm and fuzzy memories of the H.P. books obscure the reality.

I think the books and movies were endlessly boring. But anyone who knows anything about publishing knows her story about scribbling on notepads and lucking into a prominent publisher is ludicrous. There was major money behind her.

The internet is a wonderful tool. Last year these threads led to reading about the author of the Wizard of Oz books, Frank Baum, a major theosophist, his ditsy wife, Maud, and his rabid feminist mother-in-law, Matilda Gage. Baum was a disciple of Blavatsky who believed in elementals, reincarnation, seances and the occult.

There are many sites detailing his creepiness, but the one from the Theosophical Society at least can't be labeled as "biased against him."

Forewarned parents are smarter parents and safer kids.

Question: "Why must gay people lie about who they are in order to not be discriminated against? We don't ask religious or other minorities to lie or pretend who they are so they can keep their jobs or homes.

ANSWER: Because homosexuality is a chosen behavior and not comparable to faith or innate characteristic. Kinda simple ain’t it?
