Monsieur Arnett had best stay abroad. I'm old and fat and normally not the violent sort . . . but our warriors are fighting and dying in Iraq and I find his seditious bullshit quite troubling.
I'm not sure I could control myself if I were to meet this jackass face to face. I pray with all my heart that other Americans have more self-control.
God help me, after many, many years on this Earth, I've learned to hate. I'm ashamed, but there it is. War, in my case, is not conducive to forgiveness.

He's a know-it-all windbag on a mission to discredit the U.S. war effort.
To: ladysusan
didn't he say something like "My reports from Iraq are helping the anti-war effort." I don't have the time or interest in finding the exact quote, but he made it clear that he was pursuing an agenda and was proud of it.

Me thinks he still might have an Iraqi AK being held to the side of his leftist brained temples - NOBODY could be this warped in their thinking and still be alive!!!!!!!!

When I saw that this article was entitled "Already Writing in the Mirror" I thought it was going to say that Peter was like that HIV-positive prostitute, who after sleeping with her customers, would take red lipstick and write on the mirror "welcome to the world of AIDS."

Yeah Peter you goofed up and let naive Americans see how the mainsteam media in the United States aids and abets our enemies.....no worry, they will continue to give Saddam hope by showing innocent civilians getting killed, innocents getting blown away at check points, riots in foreign countries, protesters in the US and anything else that helps Saddams cause.

Peter Arnett exemplifies the world that does not understand how deeply America was changed by 9/11.
The message must sink in - if you piss us off enough, we will come and get you.

That overnight my successful NBC reporting career was turned to ashes. And why? Because I stated the obvious to Iraqi television; that the US war timetable has fallen by the wayside.
No, Mr. Arrnet you did NOT state the obvious. You, Mr. Arnett, have no proof and no idea what the plan is anymore than I do. If you did you would have offered a copy of the plan in your written report.
All you, Mr. Arrnet, are doing is going on TV and offering your "opinion" (NOT fact) that the time table had fallen by the wayside. In order for this to be a fact, you, Mr. Arnett had to provide direct evidence that the plan is off its time table.
You, Mr. Arnett have yet to provide that evidence and thus, you should have his a$$ sued off by the US government.
