Geraldo was a disgrace anyway. I still can't believe Fox News hired him. If you look at a lot of his reporting the story was this: GERALDO COVERING THE WAR. The war, the soldiers, the issues, became supporting characters as he played the role of this brave, Hemingway-esq reporter out there. He is the most blatant example of the now-it-can-be-told reporter who has lowered journalistic standards to tabloid level. The only thing that surprises me is that he went anywhere where he couldn't plug in his blowdryer for his hair (and moustache). He is the flip side of Peter Arnett -- who is not a journalist but a propagandist portraying a journalist.

I think everyone here is way too rough on Geraldo. He was doing a great job and has charisma. So what? He was very Pro-America since 9-11, and I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt. He had no history of treasonous behavior, as Arnett did. Boy, talk about fair weather friends.
