OH? So the French businessmen are concerned about French products being boycotting.. I say tit for tat.. I was VERY tempted today to purchase an L'Oreal product instead I purchased a comparible product from an AMERICAN company.. The French can go pound salt.

Good for you! What the French really have to be concerned about is not governmental contracts or actions, but billions of small actions by a couple of hundred million Americans. They have NO way to fight that, and it's going to hurt more than they realize.

Went to a real expensive restaurant last night (not French), waitress asked if we wanted bottled or regular water...my response was bottled as long as it's not French. She said they serve Evian..I said forget it and you might want to consider making a change. She just smiled and said she would mention it to the owner. It's an admittedly small gesture, but it felt good!!

What are they gonna do? Post undercover agents at 7-11's to see if folks are buying Calistoga instead of Perrier? Their consequences will be delivered by the Americvan People, and there isn't a damned thing they can do about it. One reaps what one has sown. Time for the duplicitous French to reap their bitter harvest.

Good for you. I needed to get two new tires for my wife's mini-van. I can guarantee they were not Michelins!

Right - I noticed Loreal products are on sale, giving away gift incentives. I still will use others although I had liked their products.
