Scott Peterson is still suspected in the disappearance.

There is a motive, but no body and no weapon, therefore to implicate him at this time is premature. Due to the circumstances of time, if Laci was alive, she would have been found, since her baby was due last month. Laci, if she is alive, God be with her. If she is dead, Scott had soomething to do with it!

That's the news service that does not exist. Phony call letters and all. Sounds like the Scott Peterson Information Ministry... "MPD has struck Scott Peterson with a cruise missile..."

Link provided is down now.

Took police about 1 year before they charged Bruce Koklich in the death of his wife; her body was never found (1st trial declared a mistrial-on to trial #2).

What was the reasoning in the article that he would have been charged by now? If he was cleared by now, one would think police would release his truck and boat.

I remember hearing about kidnappings of pregnant women for the sole purpose of getting the baby. Has anyone ever considered that someone might have kidnapped her (maybe even taking her to Mexico) for the purpose of surgically removing the baby and then selling the newborn? Maybe the husband didn't do it but set up it so that it could be done. But I am finding it curious and curiouser that no body has been found, no one saw anything, etc.

Thanks, Runningbear. I appreciate that viewpoint. He's never been my prime suspect but a lot of folks on FR feel differently. Innocent until PROVEN guilty is how I felt about this.

Was thinking about this case last night and thinking how it looks like Scott Peterson has gotten away with murder.

Although we just had a case locally where after almost 30 years the husband was finally arrested after authorities found the missing wife's body under a concrete slab at the house.

This is not true. Look at Robert Blake's case. They had a dead body, weapon, motives, and witnesses, but it took them one year to file any charges.

I know they're going to find her, and he'll be charged.

This is similarly INTERESTING as a example as how far they will go:

You will have to schroll down to CA.versus Douglas Mouser and click on.

This one is court testimony...Long but thought provoking..

Thanks for the ping.

FWIW, the author of the article "If Scott Peterson had murdered Laci, he would have been arrested by now." has been touting similar strange articles about the Laci Peterson case for a long time at alt.true-crime.

You can see a history of the posts here:

http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&safe=off&q=author:tiffanyanderson2u%40yahoo.com+

"From:tiffanyanderson2u@yahoo.com (tiffanyanderson2u@yahoo.com)
Subject: Re: Fresno County Search for Laci
Newsgroups:alt.true-crime
Date: 2003-03-20 07:15:37 PST

Now the story seems like a repeat of the Chandra Levy scandal, in which a Modesto woman vanished in Washington, D.C. Upon investigation, it turned out that she had been having an affair with Congressman Gary Condit (R-Calif.). Although Condit had nothing to do with her disappearance, journalists pounced on the story and turned it into a sordid soap opera."

Condit is a Republican in Tiffany's world...hmmmmmmm
