Well, I am not the expert on details...only grand strategy.
Seriously, I thought it was the 51st division, but maybe it was a brigade. Anyway, it was someone who had already surrendered.
And, are we holding all prisoners or are we allowing some to stay in barracks?

I remember hearing that most of the 51st Division that did not surrender just slinked away. So either, they are just Iraqis glad not to have to serve or Iraqis regathering. But, I haven't heard any news that they are reforming. I also saw on another thread from a very nebulous source (think it was arab or french) that the General who surrendered wasn't really the actual commander of the 51st but instead a subordinate. I don't really think that is so because it probably would have been covered by the dreadful CNN.
