[history]
THIS present war will not last long, but its effects will echo for decades. And they will be positive effects - for Iraq, for the Middle East, for the world beyond the theater of conflict and for the United States of America.

Isn't it wonderful, after eight very long years of the clinton trash, to finally have a President who puts America first?

President Bush is not the most articulate of the world's heads of state. I believe President Bush views the world through the eyes of a man of God. He views it with a sense of God's Justice, with truth and clarity, and with God's strength and purpose that he has been placed here at this point and time to do God's work while serving all Americans.
It may not be parting the Red Sea, but delivering the people of Iraq from Saddam may be seem just as good to the Iraqis.
He may have his critics at home, even among conservatives. Still no one can deny that Bush isn't taking on the biggest, ugliest tasks that a man can since he's become our President.

Your impact on F.R. is far greater than feline footsteps.
You are building a legacy of patriotic guideposts to inspire and inform the foot soldiers on the ground.

This is an important article, and an answer to the "failed diplomacy" garbage that we have been hearing for the last few days.
Neets, this is the article I was talking about. I will link it to the ATRW thread later this morning.

Cleaning up after PIGS is not an easy task.
Our world changed after 9/11....let's hope this is another huge shift the other way.

One basic rule for the UN must be that only heads of state are allowed to reresent their country who actually represent the people of their country, as in democracy. Everything else is joke.

Excellent article, thanks for posting.
We've got to turn on the Dems and others who are chanting "failed diplomacy" and tell them that it was anything but a failure, and in fact was one of the most remarkable displays of effective leadership and consensus building in the last 50 years.

Exactly!
And, that's one of the most annoying things in recent commentary is so very few are pointing out that the anti-war, anti-Bush Dems et al are telling bald-faced lies. There are also very few (in mainstream media) who are pointing out the true motivation of these people is not peace, but hate.
We also need to call attention to it whenever a newspaper or TV story perpetuates the inaccuracies.
