I put this on the other Chick's thread too - let's get busy today!!

*****It may be effective to contact certain state broadcasting associations in heavy country format markets such as the Texas Association of Broadcasters (www.tab.org).. here's a GREAT page with all of those state links: http://newsdirectory.com/assoc/na/us/broadcast/

Aside, for a short time I worked with Albright's partner, Mike O'Malley (at an un-named station for now!) and let me tell you - ain't nothing going on in that head.. radio consultants are a dime a dozen - their recommendations are solely based on research and not on any sort of intelligent thought...

" it's a lot harder to rig the record charts than it used to be."

This is yet another example of what I've been saying for almost a year. The rat media ( and now apparently the rat media includes the scum a rolling stone ) are losing their grip on the news. By the month, the evil donkey's lie machine is losing it's ablity to say what is and what is not news. The Net,Talk radio and FOXtv just won't allow them to lie and get away with it.

Like I mentioned on another thread, It'll be interesting to see the reaction to the Chicks at the upcoming CMT Flameworthy Awards. Toby Keith is one of the co-hosts.

Now if the year was 1999 and she said Clinton instead of Bush. And Arkansas. not Texas Would everyone here be in a uproar about disrespecting the president on foreign soil ?

It would depend if it was being done shortly after a sexual affair or some other scandal.

I saw no need to bomb Serbia - yet the same 'Rats who are whining about the failure of diplomacy (like Senator Lurch) were all too happy to bomb Serbia, which _compared to Iraq_ was not any threat.

I am not even sure if we should be in Iraq - but the usual leftist sniping disgusts me. As many have said, these people are trying to position themselves so that if something bad happens, they can say "See everybody, I told you so".

Now that we are there, I hope we can end this quickly and for good this time. Then we can take care of the problems with Pyongyang.

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.

Evidently. You didn't hear ME say that. I don't have problems with the majorette of the Munchkin City being trashed--it's her dumb ass that got her into this mess. If you wanna trash the President, do it on your web site like Barbara Streisand and go be a crappy soloist loved by NYC and LA slimeballs, not a country singer dependent on patriotic American listeners from the red zone. She made the decision to flush her career, and I hope she and her gutless fellow Chicks enjoy their ride to, as Mike Tyson would say, 'Bolivian.'

And TR had no problem with criticism of the President because he knew the people were with him. GWB hasn't had any comments on the Vichy Chunk's comments, either, because he knows darn well the people are behind him, too.

"Now if the year was 1999 and she said Clinton instead of Bush. And Arkansas. not Texas Would everyone here be in a uproar about disrespecting the president on foreign soil ? Or would everyone be posting how great they are. And be running out buying ther CD’s ? Not defending them. But just seeing if everyone consistent"

The issue for me isn't the disrespecting of any president -- that's how Maines cast the issue. It is disrespecting this president, and, by implication, her own (former) fans, who happen to like him.

Incredibly stupid move -- unless she's changing genre.

"Out of some 2,100 country stations in America, maybe five or six boycotted the Chicks, and most of them only for a day or two as a publicity stunt,"

Gee, Cumulus media, just the other day, placed a boycott on the Ditzy Chicks on their 42 country stations. Once again, a liberal isn't about to let the facts intrude on the message he wishes to convey.

That's not the way I heard it - my source KISS Country radio in Fresno, CA. He says the Chicks are in major trouble. We'll see, won't we? Tomorrow night 3/21 6 p.m., at the pro America rally, Shaw & Blackstone, Fresno, we're gonna crush Dixie Cluck's CD's to show our disgust with them. Jim Robinson HIMSELF and freepers and friends have been demonstrating there EVERY FRIDAY since 9/11. Should be interesting. For victory & freedom!!!
