It seems to have begun. Go to this link: http://www.msnbc.com/m/mw/mw.asp?t=V&id=live_video/chan1&sk=live_video&pl=&name=cover&opt=0 and turn up your volume. You can hear what sounds like planes (who knows, maybe its missles) flying overhead, then you hear what sounds like bombs going off in the distance. This just began about 10 minutes ago, it has been totally quiet.

Just heard a siron. It almost resonates in a musical way like trumpet. Cool.
But I still see cars going by...
Why does MSNBC have night-vision green on, if its now day in Iraq?
To: wimpycat
People are still driving around Baghdad. Wonder what the price of gas is in Iraq....

Me, too. I have the MSNBC webcam minimized on my desktop, but the sound is turned up (great sound system on my computer with woofer or subwoofer--whatever you call it) and when I heard those bombs go BOOM, my stomach tightened right up and my hands started shaking.
This is the real deal, folks, and we're going to see most of it on a freakin' webcam.

The Pentagon says we will know when it begins without a doubt. These are just small targets inside Bagdad at the moment. That's all they can report at the time until after the Pres. speaks.

CBS to rerack some tape of the attack; they're saying that this isn't "IT".

You can clearly see the dawn breaking now - no way we'd start at this time.
Well...I can't help but wonder if *that* in and of itself may constitute a big part of 'shock and awe'.
