Please do BOYCOTT RCA/Thomson.
Not only does France not support us.
This Company layed off a LARGE portion of their American employees but none of its French employees.

Perrier

You should be aware that while the water comes from the south of France, the company is owned by Nestle a Swiss Entity.
If that matters to you.

Oh well, I'm tired of those who sit on the fence, too. ;-)

Buy some good Iowa corn-fed steaks...they are so tender and delicious, they don't need steak sauce! ;-)

If it needs sauce, it musta been raised on sagebrush somewhere out west...LOL

No, I think the problem is that the French CONSUME twinkies.

You go right ahead and buy the stuff. You have the right...just like others have the right not to buy any of it if THEY want.

As to the Hollywood types? Most of them could do with a little less makeup anyhow. Of course, they won't be participating, since they are mostly French at heart.

Tragic, if true, eh? ;-)

Now that you have established your priorities, welcome to FR. Not how I would have jumped in, but welcome. I like French wine too, but not at the expense of supporting ChIraq against my own country.

If all I do is switch brands, I'm not hurting the U.S. economy. I'm still buying just as much stuff in my local stores. No company has ever done enough for me that I will never consider buying their competitor anyway. A lot of the food we buy comes from American subsidiaries of French-owned companies, and we will hardly ever know it. They are all over the food service industry too, so every time we eat out, we are potentially boosting an enemy economy.

Sorry to sound so harsh. My husband is in the mideast tonight, and I hate the French right now.

I know this is a French list, but since Germans aren't much better, does anyone know of a non-German, non-Chinese, non-French, non-Russian, Bb harmonica roughly equivalent to a Hohner Special 20?
