Then you don't know many Jews. I'm Jewish and every Jew I know, including extremely liberal Jews, are for this war. It has something to do with a place called Israel.
I'm going to add this - my wife dragged me to a chorale and dance show this past weekend because a male coworker she really likes begged her to go. It was a gay show, and yes, they were doing show tunes (to be fair, they did a great job, and it was funny).
They did some patriotic stuff which surprised me, given the lefty tendencies in this burg - and that says quite a bit.
