Left's Kooks Have Taken Over; Liberals Hate George W. Bush Above All Else

I'm sure you saw this story out of Israel where the 22-year-old girl, imagining herself to be a human shield, got bulldozed and died in Gaza. The bulldozer operator did not see her and plowed right over her.

I sometimes wonder if the people on the left, not only in this country but also around the world, have a grasp on reality. You know, liberalism is close to socialism, which exists in the world of Utopia. They have all these fantastic dreams of perfection and idealism, and, of course, that's impossible since human beings are involved and we're all flawed.

They place themselves in harm's way as human shields and actually believe that their presence will stop the course of history. They think their presence will stop actions from taking place. It's breathtaking and you shudder even more when you realize that this kind of worldview and this kind of thinking is slowly but surely co-opting the mainstream of the Democratic Party.

I have mentioned on this program so many times that there is abject hatred for George Bush the man, that this anti-Americanism we see in this country and around the world is not really anti-Americanism, it's anti-Bushism. They hate Bush just like they hated Reagan. They hate capitalism. They hate conservatism. They hate people who are morally certain. They don't like or trust people who have a definite idea of right and wrong. They just don't trust people who are firm in their opinions or any person who is confident in their faith - and dares to mention it.

I've pointed out routinely on this program how odd it is and fortunate for us, actually, that Democrats have positioned themselves politically in this country to benefit when the country is harmed. If the economy goes south into recession, the Democrats think they're in great shape. If we lose the war with Iraq or if it goes badly with many casualties, they win!

This was confirmed Sunday night by non other than Andy Rooney on 60 Minutes. Just so George W. Bush will somehow be hurt, Democrats will take it in the shorts themselves. This is becoming the mainstream position of the Democratic Party and it is the mainstream position of the world's left.

It may be a blessing that the extreme left wing of the dem party has taken over. Maybe, just maybe, the moderate dems will see the light and move a little to the right. Pray for those in the middle...

A business neighbor of mine is a Muslim from Pakistan, but quite the merchant and he says he's a Republican. He just got back from Indonesia. I asked him what the sentiment was and if they hate Americans. He said, "they don't hate Americans, they hate Bush." I find this remarkable.

He also pointed out that these Bush-hating Democrats have put themselves in a position where they would be glad to see a failed war in Iraq, a war in which many American soldiers and civilians lost their lives before the inevitable victory comes. They are proving how fake their pious peace chants really are.

I certainly hope Rush gets a tape on Larry Eagleburger's appearance on Hannity and Colmes in which he called Jimmah Carter's actions "despicable", and France a "pipsqueak" nation. Eagleburger was absolutely brilliant.

Decent people require a conscious effort to see the evil that exists in the worst of the left. They did'nt just tolerate the X42's nastiness - they exulted in it. It wasn't pragmatic stoicism, accepting his badness because of what he did to advance the left agenda. The worst of them said "He's like me! He's just like me!"

I would like to respectfully disagree with The Great One. The radical left joins forces with its antithesis, Islamo-fascism, because both seek to destroy Western Civilization.

Bush, a defender of Western Civilization is a useful and passing target. The prize they seek is not Bush's overthrow, but the overthrow of capitalism, republicanism, religion, world trade, use of fuel, farming, etc. Out of the destruction they hope to re-form the world into their respective dystopias.

Again, with deference to Maha-Rushie, he sets his vision too low. Bush is a small prize for the left, which seeks to destroy civilization.
