I have no sources. In my post I stated IMHO, it is based on the facts and events since the 2002 mid-terms. I believe he has received the proverbial kiss of death from the powers that be in the Democrat hierarchy.(we all know who that is). He is slowly(for the public perception) being eased out of any power or decision making in his position as ML. He is towing the party line, and sacrificing himself now, only because of his wifes position as a lobbyist, and the promise of rewards in the civilian sector. I would like to add that he does not have to work hard doing this, he is a snake and it comes natural to him!

I was curious to read on the Media Research Center website today (3/18) that the broadcast networks didn't cover Daschle's remarks last night. I suspect they realize this will hurt him and the Democrats and are ignoring it for that reason.
