Somehow it's always the short, dumpy, homely chick who's the obnoxious loudmouth in any clique,

Maines was blown away by the landslide at home. "'Till the landslide brought me down"
How prophetic. Their own hit foretold their demise.
To: HamiltonJay
Here is a good one, stolen from another freeper a few days ago.
Goodbye Girls
(parody of Goodbye Earl)
Natalie Maines was a big mouthed broad
Set in her backwoods ways,
Not a big fan of Toby Keith,
Not a big fan of Jenny Craig.
After failed tryouts her dad went out,
Told her to give country a whirl.
Nat went out and met Martie and Em,
and they became the Dixie girls.
Well it wasn't 3 albums
After they joined up
Natty started shooting her mouth,
She joined Lillith fair, dissed Toby's hair
And started alienating the South.
Well, she finally went on tour in the good ol' U.K.,
And started badmouthing Bush,
But the good ol' boys caught wind of her trash
And her career began to flush.
Right away their PR firm called in from England
said "Bush ignores every one"
They said speech is a right,
and there's no need to fight,
But it appeared the damage was done,
Those girls better run...
na-na-na-na-na
Goodbye Girls
Those three CDs
na-na-na-na-na
They make good frisbees, girrrrrrrrls
You're feeling bad?
na-na-na-na-na
Why don't you take it to Iraq girrrrrrrls
Ain't it dark
na-na-na-na-na
At the bottom of the charts girrrrrrrrls
Nattie wrote back to cry some more
She told the Pres she was sorr-ay
Then she played the "mother" card,
claimed Europe was jarred,
and said "I lub the USA"
Well, the weeks went by and
spring turned to summer
and summer faded into fall.
And it turned out the Chicks were a missing group
who nobody missed at all.
So the girls lost their cash
When Sony got mad and they were soon broke,
They got America annoyed, and were soon unemployed
And all because the big one spoke
Girls, say goodbye
na-na-na-na-na
Goodbye Girls
The Dixie Chicks... (break in the song)
Working at Hotel 6, girrrrrrrls
Without a trace,
na-na-na-na-na
Shedaisy's taking your place, girrrrrrrls
Ain't that weak?
na-na-na-na-na
Good! Think before you speak, girrrrrrrls
Hey!
na-na-na-na-na

Texas is by far the greatest state in the Union, we are reconised world wide as a state that honor and pride and we take crap from no one. This poor idiots are from this state and you can be sure, after what was said they are not looking forward to coming back here.

Their apology is sorely lacking. I'd have been more impressed if the other two immediately stated "Pay no mind to the dim-wit singing the songs. We just gave her a severe dope-slapping."

...We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war.6 months of diplomacy and we're rushing to war (not to mention the 15 previous resolutions over the last 12 years).
Whatever...
To: Connservative
What disgusts me is their pandering to the audience: "We want you to know . . ." blah, blah, blah.
To: murphyb
I was at our local Sams Club looking at CD's and noticed seferal empty CD slots on the shelf, then in the middle of all the empty CD slots was two completely full slots of Dixie Chicks CD's. I thought isn't that interesting as I reached past the Dixie Chicks CD's and pulled out a Kenny Chesney CD and headed to the register. Maybe the Dixie Chicks could get all grungy and start playing that angry female music like Alanis Morrisette, that croud would accept them for what they are.

Thank you.

Alabama was probably the best concert that I have ever been to. They were great. $20 field seating and they played for several hours. I swear they almost played every number one song they have and that is like 42 songs.
