Bush is driving policy, no doubt about it. Blair is standing tall but left to his won devices he would have folded, IMHO.

If the ability to speak well in public was the sole measure of the man, I'd want Blair as POTUS. Since it's not and the measure of a man is what's in his mind, gut and heart, I tahnk the Lord that President Bush is the POTUS and CIC.

Blair was getting real wobbly this last wk. More so than
most people realize. If everything goes alright in the
war Blair will be back on top, and it will be because of
President Bush.

You may be right, but Blair is one of the most articulate and persuasive politicians I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. He made the case at the summit much more clearly than Bush.

As an aside, that poor idiot Sen Roberts of Kansas on CNN allowed himself to get beaten up by Harry Reid because he didn't even know that the French proposal to give team Blix and Saddam another month and no war declaration at the end of it if there was failure to comply. The penalty for failing to comply would be another chat session at SC with France on record that it would never allow the SC to vote for war. Pathetic really. Frist should keep Roberts off the air.
