Puts me in mind of when the Gulf War started and we kept the globe on the coffee table for awhile so we could have a hands on reference.

Last night I found a poster from "Desert Storm" saying "Welcome Home Troops". I'm going to frame it this week.

But wich island. Lages Field is on Flores (we have a base there and do refuling operations from there). But the larger islands are more populated. All are owned part of Portugal the locals speak Portuguese.
