Clinton is making perfect sense.
Really, really good sense actually.
He's talking proxy war with terrorism as a front.

Oh, he knew what the problem was. He just didn't do anything serious about it. That would have required thinking on a timescale longer than the 24-hour news cycle. Too busy thinking about the next blow job.

I'm skeptical; is the guy who carries 'the football' really in the chain of command to this extent? Why would the National Security Advisor approach the President through a lower-middle rank military officer?

effen disgusting but why should I be surprised. what a piece of shit klinton is.
To: kattracks
The only surprise in this story is that Clinton didn't have his hand up some woman's skirt at the time.
To: kattracks
I always wondered why the military brass were so silent about Clinton during his tenure.
It's good to see they're finally taking the gloves off. Maybe they're just disgusted with Clinton's hypocrisy on the Iraq situation and they're not going to let him get away with it. I hope so.

Why would the National Security Advisor approach the President through a lower-middle rank military officer? I don't find this hard to believe at all. LTC Patterson was acting as a messenger in this situation, he was not "in the chain of command". I can't imagine Patterson making this story up. As far as I know Sandy Berger has not disavowed what Patterson claims and I think Berger would do that in a heartbeat if he could.

Iraq is eight hours later than EST. Diego Garcia is 13 hours later. Assuming that X42 was enjoying the golf tournament at a reasonable 2PM EDT, it would have been about 10PM EDT in Iraq, and 3AM EDT in Diego Garcia. The bombers would have had to take off and fly "back through time" to get to Iraq. They could have gotten there by midnight or 1 AM Iraq time. I don't know how long it takes to thoroughly bomb some place but they would have had at the most four hours of darkness to do their work, assuming that Clinton was first alerted in the early afternoon. Of course, if he were alerted at 5PM EDT, that would have made it 1AM in Iraq and with a minimum three-hour flight, loss of cover of darkness. What a POS! Make your own personal world clock at

The wind that is blowing that will eventually bring down the Clintons' carefully crafted house of cards is now blowing a little harder.
As time goes on and more people on the inside of Clinton's empire retire, etc., we'll hear more and more.
This is the number one reason I feel the Hildabitch's chances as POTUS are slim and none. She'll be pulled under by the weight of her own baggage. And it can't happen too soon.

President George Herbert Walker Bush once warned Clinton not to meddle with his son's presidential race with Gore. (Or something like that...anyway, it seemed to shut Clinton up.)
Now that former presidents Clinton and Carter have seen fit to publicly criticize and undermine our president, isn't it time for former President Bush (and wife Barbara) to fire back with everything they have?
They've been polite too long and it's now time to take off the gloves and give these two, the two "worst ever" presidents, a pasting.

Buzz's father was 2-star General, and Patterson was raised to be a man of impeccable integrity. He was the deployed Operations Officer flying humanitarian missions into Sarajevo at a time when our aircraft were constantly coming under intense ground fire. You can believe that everything that he writes in that book is true.

Is it really that amazing? That was my initial reaction and then I remembered who were talking about. Upon reflection, it doesn't amaze me afterall.
What is amazing is that he got away with this and much, much, much, more for 8 long years.
I got to the point during his last term, that his election, relelection, withstanding an Impeachment, and all his scandals said and continues to say much more about us as a nation than it could ever say about him.

I think we'll see this guy on O'Reilly and Hannity/Colmes within a week or so. Perhaps a nice little pre-war Clinton hit-piece.
To: Latina_Abogada
Thanks to Trent Lott and the feckless GOP Senate at the time we will never see any justice for Bill the freaking traitor/rapist Clinton in our lifetimes.
If you really want your day bummed just remember that Hillary is now in that same Senate and will run for President. And I believe it will be in 2004.

I am so afraid that we'll have Hillary as president, and Bill as head of the UN. A nightmare scenario, IMO.
