If anyone has connections or is on the San Francisco Police Department, please show them this.

Looks like civil insurrection to me.
I approve of protests, but when they are designed to disrupt and interupt the lives of other people who are not protesting or are intended to be harmful in any way, I get a little irritated.
These folks need to aquire some manners or spend some time in jail!

Listening to music earlier today, I heard the old protest song "Where have all the flowers gone". It reminded me how the aging hippies have been absolutely dying to protest GWB for any reason since he was elected. It's clear that they ache for the glory days of the 60's and 70's, and that they're literally more dangerous now than they were then.

Wouldn't it be funny if the majority of public stayed home that day? What if the anti-american crowd called for an obstruction protest and there was no one there to obstruct?

You and your husband are brave souls! BUMP!

Its San Francisco. Let the hippies shut it down. Who cares? Any business that has located there deserves to be shut down. Maybe after these hippies make life difficult they will all move to more corporate friendly digs.

Excellent work.
It is quite likely that the police and FBI and state police are not allowed to look for web sites. But I would guess that they would be more than happy to get reports (such as yours) about activities such as this.
These folks are organized - and they have a critical mass of professors and "activists" who are supported by NGOs and non-exempt organizations. Look at the list of professors and the like in the earlier posts. But they will shrivel up in cowardice when they are opposed and called out.
Our challenge is to oppose and call them out - and we need to get organized ourselves to do it. Right now we have maybe 50 to 100 folks in big cities willing to do this - they have 10 times that number. But it can be done. And has to be.

If you enjoy irritating peaceniks, you and hubby should really join us one of these days for a FReep:)
As for the SFPD, hate to rag on our local police force, BUT....they do know about sfindymedia.org. Today's Chronicle mentioned that fact in one of their many articles on the "anti-war" movement. Supposedly the police are monitoring the site, but then I have to ask myself, why do they always seem surprised by the shenanigans of the Anarchists? They did bust a lot of them today though.
I faxed our contact at the SFPD print-ups from the site earlier in the week, at his request, but today the police pretty much kept their distance. Nothing major happened anyway, but I have to say that I've found their behavior very inconsistent when it comes to our counter-protests.
As for the civil disobedience in SF, I say, let the lefty lunatics get themselves arrested. It's irritating that this city is at the mercy of these idiots, but that's what liberalism gets ya'.
When it comes to attacking military sites though, doesn't that make them the enemy? Hopefully, our military will teach them a lesson or two...

2) Assert our power to transform our city from profits, oil and war to resistance and life! We will create an open, welcoming, inspiring space that gives voice to the anti-war majority as an assertion of real democracy. As Charlie Brown used to say, "AAUGH!"
I will scream the next time I hear "civil disobedience" referred to as "democracy!" Democracy has ZIP, ZERO, NADA to do with demonstrating in the streets! Are these people really so stupid that they don't know the meaning of the word "democracy" itself, or are they simply trying to redefine the word for their propaganda purposes?
And "Anti-war majority"? Scuse me? There are about 725,000 people who call San Francisco home. If you want to believe these people's estimate of 200,000 for the February 16 rally (even after the Chronicle -- in a rare display of candor that borders on bravery -- put on its front page their revision of the estimate to only 65,000), that's STILL not even close to half!
