A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are,God is, And all is well. Amen.
.
Bless This House
Bless this house O Lord we pray;
Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout,
Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall,
Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove
ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright,
Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there,
with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within,
keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be
Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we
May dwell O Lord with thee.
.

Something to ponder:
You are the President of the United States. Scientists have discovered a meteor that is headed towards the earth. They have calculated that it will strike France in 2 days, at approximately 2:30 A.M. The meteor is large enough to completely wipe France from the face of the earth forever.
France and the United Nations have requested that the United States send all available ships and aircraft to help evacuate the country. Among the ships and planes you could be sending are many that are being used to fight the war on terror overseas.
As the President, you must decide: Do you stay up late on the night of the impact to watch the coverage live, or tape it and watch it in the morning?

GOOD MORNING ALL
Today we are off to a cool start, but the sun is shining. Weather man lied apparently cause this morning's forcast for this weekend is only 50s and possible rain on Sunday. BUT... I am still going to clean those vehicles on Saturday.
When I got at the Canteen this morning I had a lot of reading to do from yesterday's thread. Everyone was busy last night while I was away. But, I discovered some interesting things. I now wonder what Camp-Run-A-Muck is going to be like now that we will have "vistors". I wonder if tomkow is going to send his kitty-katz to charm school before the visitors start coming by? Even though they were on their best behavior this past Wednesday, the week before they were "running-a-muck!"
I also have someone I'd like to add to the Care Package list. He is a young man local from my area and is on the Connie. Here is the info:
ET3 Matthew Winkler, USS Constellation (CV64) CS/CS6/CS10 FPO AP 96635-2780
(quote: If anyone wants to send anything, I am not picky. Just to receive mail of any sort is a good thing.)
GOOD MORNING TROOPS! Thank You!
