I think that's hilarious that you take that for a given. Imagine the leaders of terror cells for a moment, as they watch "shock and awe." They now know that the U.S will take the war to their soil and to their homes before giving in. They're watching all of the lies of U.S weakness unravel and all hope of Islamic conquest go up, literally, in smoke.

It's hard to answer that specifically, but let me give just one example. The current Palestinian uprising has killed 600 Israelis with the loss of only 2000 Palestinians. The Palestinians are winning simply by breeding faster and throwing away their lives despite Israel's use of shock and awe tactics. The Palestinians do this very simply using war crimes: attacking civilians and pretending to be civilians when they are combatants. It's very difficult to wage a successful war against a population containing nearly unlimited numbers of hidden combatants.
