I get the lighter, but what do you use the pickup for?

I would guess to ram it into something hard enough to make it leak oil that the lighter could ignite.

I would imagine the US Command has put a soldier or 50 or so around the oil fields just in case.

I'm sure the Saudis and Kuwaitis have already done exactly that. There aren't that many wells there to guard. There are only 1400 in all of Saudi Arabia. In comparison, we have almost 900 wells currently drilling in this country.

LOL....Red Adair; he retired. He's about 88.

You have heard of the discount outfit, haven't you? It's run by Red Martinez.

He got his start by coming in with a very low bid to put out a rig fire; he pulled up close with a truckload of amigos, and all of a sudden the truck proceeded right into the heart of the fire....the amigos all jumped out, ran around and soon the fire was stomped out.

When the media commented about this unusual method and queried him as to how he'd spend the money, Red shakily stated, "The first thing I do is fix the damn brakes on the damn truck"..

Smash into a spheroid at 60. I think dad was being somewhat tongue in cheek- but the point is there are "critical failure" points all through the system, that wouldn't require explosives to shut down- just knowledge and a willingness to die.

I do hope these reports about Al Qaeda planning to attack our troops are true. Oh, what an easy way to be rid of these cowardly terrorists. They have absolutely no idea of the slaughter they will face when they attack a hardened, trained target like the Marines or Airborne.

I think sometimes that stuff like this is leaked to get the type of reaction that you gave. My opinion is that whatever we do, the most important critics will be from within. I don't believe it matters much what other countries think, Bush does not need there votes to be re elected, it's what our citizens think.
