Yeah, I guess that's basicly what I'm thinking.

Then they not only have your technology, but they might be able to turn it on you.
It would be the modern day equivalent of a simultaneous, Navy wide mutiny. A total disaster.
Just speaking of robots and applications in general, my uncle is a farmer. A BIG TIME farmer.. (he's got land he's forgot he even owns I bet)
Something I never, ever hear mentioned, but I always thought would be a good, real world application for robotics would be robotic farm equipment.
He spends so much time jockying a tractor and combine it's not even funny. Driving out to remote places to give hay to the animals and what-have-you.
I can forsee absolutely massive increases in productivity here, at some point in the future.
