I agree with you...GW is about results not process...sharing credit not hogging the spotlight...protecting innocent Iraqi lives and the lives of American soldiers...he's no fool...if this proposal goes down the US and Britain will play a pivotal role in helping to create a functioning government in Iraq...and we'll look like heroes doing it...the USA and Britain will also get some oil deals to help our economies and compensate us for our expenditures to date...I pray that Saddam steps down and war can be prevented.

Didn't the Vatican do the same thing for the Nazis? No. That is just anti-Papal propaganda.

Didn't the Vatican do the same thing for the Nazis? They are supposed to have ferreted numerous Nazi criminals out to safe haven to protect them from the big bad Allies.No. They are "supposed" by whom? Where did your hear that one?

Truly pathetic. How does the United Naturists propose to enforce this pansy-ass farce? And, would we trust the UN to do any of this? They sure haven't enforced any resolution in 12 years & 4 months!

IMHO, all the events of the past few months are no less ridiculous than the above scenario... I've given up trying to follow the UN/France/Germany ad nauseum shenanigans...LOL... Patience is a virtue. I understand your frustration with this process. I'm glad our President has more patience than I do. The major fact probably is that the military buildup needed required most of this time anyway, and the UN nonsense has served at least one purpose (even if it is to unmask the UN) and may have as well been tried. It has not deterred our military timetable, and we'll go in when we are ready.
Patience.

Regardless of how problematic NK is for
this administration, it is far more problematic for China. They
do not want a nuclear Japan and possibly even Tiawan. They know they have a huge problem here, and will somehow get involved in time.
Certainly the remainder of the Axis of Evil (of which our President has only named three of the nodes) has other targets. Iran may take care of itself with a little shove, possibly simply the liberation of Iraq. The others will have to be dealt with over time, and with great patience.
