A quick check of Citrus College's full-time faculty listing didn't show her; ergo, she's probably adjunct faculty. If so, she's on a year-to-year or semester-to-semester contract - much easier to just not renew her contract. Firing her mid-semester would be an adminstrative nightmare for the faculty and administration.

I had a similar situation, but in that case I opted to stand by my principles and took the F. Then I went to the department head and demanded that he grade my paper.

I got an A and an apology from the first professor.

They need to speak with students she's taught in the past to see whether this was an isolated incident, or whether this reflects a pattern of overt left-wing bias. If this is part of a pattern, she needs to be booted.

If the professor was a CONSERVATIVE, advocating conservative causes through her students, she would have been fired on the spot. Of that I am certain.

This is what I e-mailed to Citrus College Mental Health Services:

"Will you be offering special counseling services for those students who have been mentally assaulted by having to submit to the political brainwashing of Professor Kahn, or else jeopardize their maximum academic standing?"

I think it's good to get a full discussion going between all who are paid by this college.
