Funny you mention that. I thought it was rather bizzare that when the architect was explaining his design, he said it's layed out in such a way that on Sept. 11 at exactly the time the first jet hit the first tower the light will stream between the buildings into the center of the plaza. It sounded highly occultic, like Stonehenge or the pyramids. This is just weird. Very New Age. Very much like a pagan holy site.
I personally like the idea. Human memory fades, ceremonies die off as those directly involved grow old and die but as long as the building stands there will be a memorial to what happened there.
I like that. I like the 1776 Spire. The rest could use a little work.
