As I said in an above post, if it weren't for the East Germans (and those parlor pinks and out and out Reds in Hamburg, Berlin and the rest of Junkerland), Germany would be behind us.
Was in Munich and Franfurt back in '91 and met nothing but nice people. Paris and Calais on the other hand...

"Spelt" is fine to use as the past tense of "to spell" if you are British or maybe just an archaic American.

I know about Faeror, I was asking about Fanoe. Sorry you're upset with spelt. I rather like it. And since I'm the one doing the typing on my own posts, I'll resist the pressure to conform to your standards.

From Webster's : spell(spell) v. spelled or spelt,.......

"Private Ryan's Grandson" is a saying of Micheal Savage about young men today with earrings, baggy pants, hat on backwards, protesting with Greens - compared to their grandfathers who fought and freed the world from Hitler and Tojo and built the country afterwards.

Germans and French have a problem with their firms having dealt with Iraq. That´s why these criminals now will be prosecuted.

Before trying to insult foreigners, make sure you know how to spell their country correct. I´ll help you: Deutschland. The translation for Germans is Deutsche. So you probably meant Deutsche raus?

I ate Pizza Napolitan in Naples. Delicious, just like the pizza I get in South Philly.

He´s discriminating the "little guy" visiting his island. And if any French or German would try to enter his restaurant, I bet these guys will never travel to Denmark anymore. Denmark has a tourist problem today, because they don´t have the Euro. Tourists from the Euro-Zone stay in the 12 member states (me too). It´s easier and cheaper to travel through Greece, France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, (Luxemburg,) Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Finland to pay for exchange and learn to think in different currencies. I´m happy with the Euro. :-))

You might be right when saying that French eat no Pizzas. I can´t live without this great Italian invention.
And it´s hard to live without Doughnuts.

We are in the public: the CDU/CSU-chairman in parliament and CDU-leader Dr. Angela Merkel is on a visit in Washington. She has spoken with VP Cheney (of course the President himself cannot meet with the opposition whil refusing to talk with the government), Sec Rumsfeld and NSec Advisor Rice yesterday. She reported of a friendly, nice atmosphere - they all agreed on the Iraq question.
I don´t know if that is covered in the US news, but in Germany, her trip was very well reported (and criticized by the government).

Do your own research. It was when the Iraq report was released in uhh December and the list of 80 German firms came out.
Prosecuters are investigating these sells, and some businessmen were already convicted.

Refusing to provide a source. That sounds rather childish.

"Hadn't the United States helped Europe in defeating Germany, there would have been photos of Adolf Hitler hanging on the walls around here," he said, referring to Nazi Germany's occupation of Europe in World War II.

Hopefully, he makes exceptions for folks who are not anti-American.
