A rally in support of the men and women of the United States Armed Services attracted thousands of participants. The event was held downtown at Monument Circle at noon on Saturday.
"We want our fighting men and women to know we are behind them," said the event's organizer, Rob Greene.
David McIntosh, a 2004 Candidate for Governor, also spoke at the rally. Other featured speakers include State Senator Luke Kenley and Indiana's most decorated Marine, Don Myers.
Hoosiers from across the state attended the rally.
What a beautiful, detailed and terrific report! You touched my heart. Thank you for all of these wonder posts and for caring so much about supporting our courageous, and perhaps lonely but oh so prepared troops! It was an honor to meet and greet veterans and to stand with so many who passionately care about our nation's defenders.
I am so glad to met you-you are a powerful and energetic force for good.
That was a loooooooooooong trip home, brother! And again-you summations of the day were TOP DRAWER! Kudos, what an honor to stand beside you and the other patriots. It was not easy in that weather-but isn't it amazing how taking a stand for something you believe in can make even a wet to snow blizzard bearable? :^)
