I showed up to counter-protest the pro-Saddam-dictator and anti-Bush demonstration. I had a sign saying "Liberate Iraq".
If a pollster asked the question "would you favor liberating Iraq?" we might get 70% (Fox new had 67% support military action against Iraq to remove saddam from power).
And yet I saw more signs that were intellectually vacuous, or false/offensive (In Austin, TX, "bush is a terrorist", egads what BS). In fact, it shows how protests can degrade political debate by reducing things to cartoon level simplification. The whole protest was assinine and peurile in its attitude and claims.
so the point is the "antiwar" protest doesnt represent the people overall and odesnt represent logical views. that's the point.

Why was reply 8 removed? the question is a fair one, though 'loaded' Q. "Honestly, what kind of point are you trying to make?"
