Osama In Coma, Near Death

Just before midnight last night, John Batchelor, on location in Kazahkistan, reported that Osama Bin Laden is under heavy guard in a cave in Western Pakistan. He is yellow in color, from failing kidneys, and slips in and out of a coma. The required kidney dialysis has failed to help him.

Apparently, when he comes out of a coma for a brief period, they will record his voice. Of course, if he dies soon, he will be denied his wish for martyrdom. It was stated that some see this as a punishment from God.

If you read and look more carefully, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do". Is specific to what those if they had full knowledge would not have done. Note ICorinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

So this Prayer backed up by ICorinthians 2:8 sets apart what Christ was speaking about, pointing out that full knowledge of crucifing Christ would not be possible unless they did not know what they were doing.

To use this as an excuse for what evil people do takes away from who Christ is.

The Bible is very specific about what is our Heavenly Father's vengence, and I do not disagree that it belongs to Him. Discernment of whether man is trying to replace Heavenly vengence is what is called for.

"It is accomplished" is not all spoken while on the cross and a little further study will show that he was quoting Psalms 22.

If this is true and I doubt it, he would also be suffering from renal demensia making anything he had to say irrelevant anyway. In other words he has the same symptoms as a dying Alzheimer's patient.

What do you believe the sacrifice of Christ was for? What was "accomplished?" Did Jesus decide this was just an apt time to recite the fist Scripture that came to mind, or was the passage in Psalms prophetic of something? (Of course you know it was.)

Well, it causes them to effectively lie about the Lord. If you catch someone doing that, please tell him to stop.

Methinks you are pondering the imponderable, since you are not Christ and the Father is not expecting perfection from you. Forgiveness of mass murderers is only possible for the Father, as turning the other cheek becomes total insanity. Even Joshua fought the battle of Jerico and the walls came tumbling down. Saddam is Evil, you are not required to love or forgive evil. I cannot.

That is not the way that the story goes. Osama died of kidney disease in Tora Bora, and they cut off his head and froze it, and when the technology is perfected, he will be hooked up to a newer younger body, and we will be seeing that head again! He will be telling us some new tales.
