As for the prize I won, I'm still waiting for an opportunity to have our President sign it. I'm so jealous of my sister who has an autographed picture of our President. She got it when she used to volunteer at the White House.

It was also way too illegal...let's just say that MOST racing is on the "informal" side.

The Countess has been bested ONCE herself...by a SUPERCHARGED Saleen-built 'Stang that almost lost control of itself whilst shifting. The awesome torque of a 450+ hp motor caused the rear to spin out at each shift, and almost hit me, as I was right alongside. I backed down, he punched it, went side-to-side INTO my lane inches from my front end, and sped off.

The biggest trick in street racing is to know when to GIVE UP. Had I stayed in the race, I would be dead. The other guy clearly had a more powerful car; he was just inept at DRIVING it safely.
