This analogy should take us to the radical interpretation of Islamic ideology, and how leaderships in Moslem countries must be made to understand the danger of inflaming the minds of the believers. By deposing Saddam, or disarming him, or his cohorts we are simply chasing termites one at a time, while feeding the queen (Saudi Arabia)!

Asking a faithful Muslim if he renounces jihad as literal warfare is useless. If he says no, at least he is being honest, and can be excluded from imigrating with a hearty thanks for his frankness. If he says, yes, the fact that lying to infidels in the service of Islam is a virtue renders the reply contentless.
1) Eradicate every Islamist and all related literature
or
2) Modify Islam so that it, like Christianity, recognizes the fact that the choice of belief system is up to the individual and Islam must not impose it's choices on others?
Are either of these options practically possible? Or are we doomed to perpetual attempts by Islamists to impose (by force) their beliefs on everyone who is not an Islamist?
