I just received a phone call Rosie. She has some info she asked me to let folks know about.
MINOR SETBACK:
Rose is looking forward to freeping once more, but recovery from her recent spinal surgery has been delayed a bit. She has fractured 3 ribs by lifting a large carton of milk out of the fridge. She was within doc's guidelines and wasnt trying to lift something heavier than the required limits, but she said her mistake was in holding it out away from her body.
The recovery delay is because she is now taking an OTC (over the counter) pain med which slows healing but is necessary for inflammation in the rib cage area. The silver lining in this cloud is that her arthritis has been reduced by the OTC meds and she is able to work on her crafts a bit. She stated several times that she is fine and the setback and delay is minor.
She sends her greetings to one and all here.
REQUEST FOR FLEA COLLARS FROM THE TROOPS IN IRAQ!!:
Rose particularly wanted me to spread the word that a friend of hers has a son serving in Iraq. He has asked his mom to send him some dog and cat flea collars. There are sand fleas and the collars help a lot in warding off the little buggers. Rose asked me to let folks interested in preparing care packages for troops on the Iraqi front that this is a HIGH REQUEST item!!
Our Father in Heaven,
We ask that you will intercede in the health and healing of our friend YellowRoseofTexas. Please heal those 3 fractured ribs rapidly. Please protect her from any and all other setbacks and delays from healing according to thy will. We ask you Father to keep her spirits upbeat in the face of the setback. Comfort her and keep her mindful that you are always with her. We are grateful that you have cared for her and brought her this far. We do extend to her our love and prayers and ask that you will cover her with them.
We also pray that you will intercede and shield our troops through the use of flea collars or miraculously from the torment and distraction of sand fleas.
This which we call forth for Rosie, we call forth for any who have similar need.
Amen

If you can, let Rose know that yogurt/ice cream/diary products are good 'friends'. ALSO, shark cartilage pills and olive leaf extract (18%) plus garlic OIL caps. Natural stuff, but they work. (God grown, dontcha know)

No, better check. I remember years ago some marines at camp lejuene N.C. did that and we ended up with some pretty sick marines. They aren't made for people, they are made for animals.
