(And tell her also that my mom, who had degenerative disc disease, a laminectomy, two spinal fusions, and pinched nerves to boot, is up and around swimming, riding a bicycle, gardening, and DANCING -- at age 77! So be of good cheer - and think of how much medical science has advanced since the 1970s!)
