I had a horrible sense of foreboding all weekend-- I think you're probably right that a terrorist attempt or two will be made (the assassination, I agree, was a signal.) The question is whether those terrorist attack attempts will succeed. I pray to GOD not.

Exodus 21:19, "But if the ox were wont to push with his horn in time past, and it hath been testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in, but that he hath killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death."

Very good read. We have the comfort in knowing that there is a president at the helm who is not so self-centered as to think this is all about him. Praying daily for President Bush and his administration that the right decisions will be made. <;)

God may not have put him in the presidency, but he is a gift from God nonetheless.

There are so few real leaders in this world. I'm so grateful to God that he blessed this nation, once again, with a leader of our W's caliber.

Continued prayers for our W, that by God's grace, he is blessed with wisdom, courage and resolve.

I think ya all got your tin foil hats on...and they're way too tight. Saddam isn't going to attack because it's Tuesday the 11th...that's childish, magical thinking. He can attack any time he cares too and he knows his butt will immediately be burned to a crisp. Instead of the fear crap why not have a little real faith in God and our leaders, like President Bush, and cut the defeatist crap! It's almost wup-ass time and the good ol'USA is gonna kick ass. Quit bein' a nervous nelly.

I don't have any doubt that the US will prevail. The question is "how much of a price will we suffer before victory"? That's not unreasonable fear. That's realism. In few wars does one side suffer all the casualties and this one has shown a willingness to attack civilians on foreign shores, not just the military.

Saddam knows he's toast so why not take out as many of the infidels as possible? And what better way than to strike the first blow? He got away with his involvement in 9-11 without direct punishment. When the next attack happens, Saddam will deny involvement and all the appeaseniks will jump to his defense. Those are the true "nervous nellies".

I have no doubt that the fight should be joined and it needs to begin soon if it's ever going to happen. Right now, Bush is playing the "bad cop" to Hans Blix's "good cop". There's an outside chance they'll get Saddam to step down without firing a shot this way. But without finding and removing the weapons he has, America will still be in peril. I think Saddam has been funneling money and weapons to Al Qaeda and we need to get those weapons before the terrorists use them.

I don't think that's an unrealistic view of this.

As I said before, I hope I'm wrong about Tuesday. But the past is one of the future's best predictors.
