Hartwright also sought out drug-addicted mothers and convinced them to relinquish custody of their boys to him. He took some of the children to Germany where, he told police, it's easier to have a romantic relationship with a boy.

One uses poor teenboy druggies to scour for prospects -- the other presumably uses PR agents, modeling agencies, and other such professinal celebrity groupies. One takes his boys to Germany, the other to Monte Carlo. One no one defends -- the other has so many defenders.
