BTW, what kind of sick bastard would show the movie 'The Exorcist' to a 12 year old??? I thought that too.His plan was to probably scare the kid into his waiting arms, then he could make his move from there. That movie has been known to have psychologicly scarred some adults, let alone a young kid.My wife won't watch it to this day.

Q: What happened to the guy who couldn't keep up payments to his exorcist?

(We've got, you know, armadillos in our trousers. I mean, it's really quite frightening.)

I know what you mean! One of my older male cousins came to stay with us for awhile, when that movie came out. He, my sister, and a family friend went to see it, I didn't!
Anyway, I could tell it was really something, when my cousin came home, went straight to the kitchen, and muttered that he "needed a stiff drink!". Of course, he and the two girls talked about it for a long time, laughing about it, and shaking their heads.
This cousin really likes horror movies; he had also been to Vietnam w/the Marines! This movie gave him pause, I think! I knew why I didn't watch it, just to see his reaction!

It totally freaked her out--she had nightmares for days. She won't watch it to this day, either. I recently watched the DVD, but did so when she was out of the house.
